I’ve been seeing a lot of articles and posts about growth mindset and tangible ways to instill a positive growth mindset in the classroom. Activities, posters, videos. All with the aim to encourage students to believe in themselves.
And I’ve been thinking that I need to find some ways to incorporate a subtle focus on growth mindset in my Spanish classroom.
So today, I decided to try my hand at creating a bookmark that students can color with a powerful quote from artist Frida Kahlo. Below is a preview.

It actually turned out better than expected!
But after seeing the finished image, I wondered how it would look digitally colored.
And……WOW!
